Zentangle was originated by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts in Massachusetts, USA in 2005. It is a combination of deliberate pen strokes to create patterns, while exercising and relaxing the brain. In October 2010, I became one of the first Australian Certified Zentangle Teachers (CZT).
Anyone can teach pattern drawing but to be a CZT you must sucessfully complete a two day seminar in the United States.
Learning Zentangle is easy and anyone can do it, but learning from a CZT means you learn from a common foundation, which then gives you the wings to create your own Zentangles. Your life will never be the same!
