Hello and welcome!

I am Kass Hall and I am a mixed-media artist and writer, based in Melbourne, Australia.

I love drawing and painting in art journals and I teach art journaling classes around the world. This is what makes me happiest and what I love sharing with friends and students.

I also love painting on large canvasses - there is a true freedom in 'going big' on canvas.

I am a bestselling author of two books, Zentangle® Untangled  was published in mid-2012. and has been translated into five foreign languages (and counting!). I'm very humbled by and proud of its success and an so grateful for the wonderful feedback from readers. The follow up book, the Zentangle® Untangled Workbook was released in mid-2013. Readers are telling me it is a great supplement book to the first, as well as a useful stand alone title. You can buy these titles online here or ask at your local bookstore.

Amplified Art is my third book - this time about art journaling - and will be released in early 2016.

I hold a Bachelor of Visual Art and Design and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education. I am passionate about giving people around the world the skills and confidence to explore their creativity through art. So, although I am called a 'teacher', I am actually really an 'enabler' - students will always leave my classroom with new skills, confidence to experiment and try new things, self belief and overflowing with ideas to make your art their own. I don't teach classes where you simply copy what I've done but something that is your very own, knowing I've given you every tool I can for success.

In my spare time (!) I am studying Law part time and I am happily enslaved to two pugs named Elvis and Sunny. I love reading and music.

Please feel free to look around the website. I welcome email via the link above and will try to reply quickly.

Thanks for stopping by!
